Teams using Opusis

For conductors and leaders who run team rehearsals.

Worship teams, choirs, school bands, and chamber groups can all start the same way: upload the score, invite the players, and rehearse while everyone sees the same music and the same measure.

01Worship Teams

New songs every week, one shared score for everyone.

A leader sends PDF scores in the group chat the night before rehearsal, but players still open different versions. The first 15 minutes go to checking files and finding the same place in the music.

Upload the digital score to an online practice room once. Share the invite link with your team. When rehearsal starts, press Play and every musician follows the same measure on screen. Need to drill the bridge? Mark it as a repeat practice section.

  • Everyone always sees the latest score
  • The leader adjusts tempo and key from one screen
  • Planning Center Services integration on the roadmap
  • Join by invite link, no install required

02Choirs & Vocal Ensembles

Keep your own voice clear while seeing the full score.

Online sectional rehearsals make it easy for singers to lose their place. Sopranos search for their line, altos miss entries, and tenors keep asking which measure to start from.

Each singer chooses their voice part. Their staff is highlighted in the score while the full choir context stays visible. When the conductor marks an entry as a repeat practice section, the whole section starts from the same place. Section leaders can also lead their own group.

  • Highlight soprano, alto, tenor, and bass parts
  • Conductor marker shows entry measures in real time
  • Section leaders can run their own voice group
  • Set any measure range as a repeat practice section

03School & Community Bands

Know who practiced, even when you cannot meet in person.

School and community bands cannot always gather everyone in the same room. Students may arrive under-prepared, and directors have little visibility into which sections were practiced between rehearsals.

Create an online practice room for the band and assign a measure range as recording homework. Students submit practice recordings before the next rehearsal, and the director can listen later and leave feedback. Practice history shows who prepared and at what tempo.

04Chamber Ensembles & Small Bands

Rehearse from different places with the same score.

Small ensembles in different cities often rely on video calls, but nobody is truly together in the music. The guitarist is three measures ahead, the cellist is reading a different arrangement, and the group spends time finding the same place.

One member creates an online practice room and uploads the shared arrangement. Whoever leads that rehearsal controls playback and repeat sections. Other players can follow along, practice alone, and rejoin the group section when ready.

  • Everyone sees the same score in one practice room
  • Any member can lead the rehearsal when needed
  • Practice alone, then rejoin the group section
  • Slow the tempo down for careful practice
